Accuracy & limitations
- Accepts 2–4 static JPG, PNG, or WebP images, up to 10 MB and 12 megapixels each, 20 MB total, and 8192 px per source axis. HEIC, SVG, GIF, and animations are not supported.
- Output is limited to 8 megapixels and 8192 px per axis. If it is too large, a fitting common length is suggested but never applied silently. Device and browser limits may require smaller images even within these caps.
- Images scale proportionally to the common length and dimensions round to whole pixels. Lengths below 1 px are clamped to 1 px and can change the ratio. Enlarging an image does not add detail.
- PNG supports a transparent or selected solid background; JPEG uses a solid color. Original EXIF/GPS metadata is not copied into the new file. Precision print color matching is not guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
How do I combine images horizontally or vertically?
Choose images and a layout. Horizontal images share a common height, while vertical images share a common width. Adjust their order and gap, select Combine images, then download the result.
What if the combined image is too large?
Dimensions are calculated before combining. If the output exceeds the cap, the tool suggests the largest fitting common length. Select Apply or enter a smaller length yourself. A source image exceeding the input cap must be resized first.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Selection, combination, preview, and download happen in this browser. Image contents and original filenames are not sent to a server or analytics.
Can I reorder images or cancel?
Use the Earlier, Later, and Remove buttons, including with a keyboard. Cancel stops subsequent work and discards late results. Changing settings disables the old download. A native image decode already in progress may finish before it is discarded.
